  1. If you enjoyed The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, you might love Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune. They are both wholesome and inspiring books about the afterlife and second chances.

2. If you enjoyed Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club, you might also love The Marlow Murder Club by Robert Thorogood. They have very similar names but that's not actually why I'm comparing them. Both books are the first in cosy murder mystery series featuring older main characters. They are both quirky, funny and gripping with twisty cases.

3. For fans of Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata, try Diary of a Void by Emi Yagi. They are both relatively short books translated from Japanese and are about the societal expectations of women, and have main characters who do drastic things to 'fit in'.

4. Jane Austen & Pride and Prejudice fans might also love A Lady's Guide to Fortune Hunting by Sophie Irwin. This novel is set in the regency era and is a non-spicy romance about a young girl who must marry to save her family.
