This whole book is designed to look like an IKEA catalogue - how cool is that?? It was such a fun and unique experience to read - there are so many details like order forms, maps, and each chapter is named and based around a piece of furniture. The actual story reminded me of an adult Goosebumps book, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It is a supernatural horror story about an IKEA knock-off store called Orsk, and a few of its employees who are asked to do a night shift because some of the shop stock keeps getting vandalised. It gradually builds in tension and horror, and gets seriously dark, disturbing and gory. For people who don’t like descriptions of torture and injury this probably isn’t the book for you.

How accessible is it?

I absolutely loved the unique format of this book, and I found it really easy to read. The font is large, with wide spaces and the chapters are not too long.
