I always love books with unconventional narrators and this certainly didn’t disappoint. It is about a girl who is in prison for a crime she didn’t commit, but she did kill several members of her family. The chapters vary between being set in the present in prison, and back in the past where she tells us about each of her crimes in turn. She is so down-to-earth and casual as she describes pretty horrific things. I loved that during the book you might find yourself at times feeling sorry for her situation, and almost routing for her? I did not see the ending coming at all, and it left the book on such a satisfying but shocking cliffhanger! I definitely recommend this one, it is fun & quirky for a book about a serial killer.

How accessible is it?

I found the language very easy to understand, it wasn’t a challenging read for me.
