This book is about a woman who was trying to travel home for Christmas to see her terminally ill mother, when she is caught in a blizzard. She has no choice but to stay the night in a nearby service station with four strangers. When she goes outside she finds a little girl trapped in the back of a van belonging to one of the people she is trapped in the station with. This book is really tense, I honestly did not know how this was going to end! It is so action-packed, there are a couple of twists that I absolutely did not see coming, and I think this would make a great movie. I liked that there was a strong female lead in this book. It was a bit gory and dark at points, and one of the characters is pure evil.

How dyslexia-friendly is it?

This book is so action-packed and gripping that I didn’t feel like I was having to put any effort into reading at all, and was imagining everything so vividly! I thought it was written in a very engaging and clear style, I am excited to read more by this author!
