My dad let me design the cover for his new book! He’s been teaching students for over 30 years and has worked with so many different people along the way, and wanted to write a book that could help students discover study skills and coping mechanisms that will help them throughout university and life.
I wish I could have read this book before or whilst I was at University! I really do feel like I could have worked in a much smarter (not necessarily harder) way and saved myself a lot of time and stress! This book is brilliant for those starting or currently at university, for those who are struggling, unmotivated and questioning whether university was the right option for them, but also for people who are doing alright and want to improve their grades and work ethic. As a neurodivergent graduate who got a 1st class degree -I really do think that this book has fantastic advice that every student regardless of your situation would benefit from reading.
How dyslexia-friendly is this book?
It is so accessible, and I helped my dad make it as dyslexia-friendly as possible! We chose a dyslexic-friendly font, there are lots of pictures and drawings, the writing is not at all pretentious, the paragraphs are short and there are lots of interactive features (it is not just pages of long chunks of text).
It is available on kindle or in paperback on Amazon. If you are interested in reading the free 70 page preview of his book, please use this link!
I have included some photos of the book so you can see what it looks like inside!
