This was such a unique and captivating murder mystery, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys trying to solve the mysteries themselves! The book is a compilation of texts, emails, and documents between the suspects, and the communication between two law students throughout who are trying to solve the case. The wrong person has been imprisoned, and all is not as it seems.

It is about an AmDram group, and some of its members who start a fundraiser to help a young girl get lifesaving treatment. Suspicions about the fundraiser arise when the fundraising figures don’t add up, as do questions about the legitimacy of the medical treatment and the medical professional who is offering it . The characters are complex and many are unlikeable.

How dyslexia-friendly is it?

There are a lot of characters - over 80 names are mentioned in the book! Thankfully, the documents do include occasional lists of the names of the characters and some of their connections/relations. I had to make notes however as I kept forgetting who was who. It wasn’t the easiest book to read for me, but it was so interesting and mysterious that I continued with it, and I’m really glad that I did! It just involved a bit of re-reading some parts for me :)
