This short, fast-paced thriller is about a young girl who receives a life-saving heart transplant, and wants to connect with the mother of the boy who donated her new heart. At first, the girl gets on so well with the woman and they form a bond instantly. However, her mother starts to notice strange behaviours in her daughter, and worries that she might be starting to lose her child.

Although the book is a thriller, there were some really poignant statements and quotes in the book. There are a couple of cool plot twists, and I did sort of guess one but not completely so it still had the shock factor for me. It ends on such a tense cliff-hanger that I think there definitely could be a brilliant sequel to this book!

How dyslexia-friendly is it?

Very! Large text, short paragraphs, easy to read font, really quick read.
