This story is about an old man who collects lost objects that he finds in the hope of reuniting them with their owners one day. Absolutely loved this book! This is going to be one that I know I will re-read when I need a comforting, relaxing and easy book. As a natural collector of things myself, I found this book so enchanting and intriguing! I loved hearing the stories of those whom the objects belonged to and getting snapshots of their lives. Dogs featured a lot in this book which I was VERY happy about and I adored Douglas, Carrot and Baby Jane 🐶. I found the ending to be a bit predictable but it was all so intricately woven together and satisfying that I didn’t mind at all!

How dyslexia-friendly is it?

I think it was really accessible! I read it very fast, and I found the language to be very easy to understand. I loved the little images throughout the book with some of the objects.
