This is a lovely, cosy murder mystery set on the coast of Shoreham. A really charming enjoyable read, and a nice interesting bunch of characters. This book reminded me a bit of the Thursday Murder Club - it has a similar cosy murder mystery vibe, with elderly main characters, multiple murders, twists along the way… so if you enjoyed that book you might like this! For me, this is the perfect bedtime book! It is interesting and has a good plot but is not too tense or distressing, and has a lovely cosy feel to the whole thing.
How dyslexia-friendly is it?
Very! Not too many characters names to learn and really easy to read. I like the way Elly Griffiths writes, and find the language easy to understand and follow.
