This is one of my favourite Agatha Christie novels with truly loveable characters Tommy and Tuppence. For a story which next year will be 100 years old, I think it has aged very well! The book is about two broke young adults who are desperate for money, and start up their own business where they hire themselves out and are happy to do just about anything. A mysterious request from a client eventually leads them to play the role of amateur detectives, and they gradually get themselves more and more involved in a dangerous situation.
This was a fabulous bedtime read for me, and I found the plot to be surprisingly unpredictable.
How dyslexia-friendly is it?
I didn’t find it to be that easy to read, and I got a bit lost and had to keep re-reading sections. However, I found a free podcast that reads the book, so I played it whilst I read and that really helped!
