An absolute favourite! I have never read anything quite like it - imagine ground hog day but as a psychological thriller murder mystery! Such an original and clever concept for a book, where the main character witnesses the same murder of a woman seven times from the perspective of seven different guests! A really exciting and tense read. Fantastic plot twist that I thought about for so long afterwards!
Was it dyslexia-friendly?
Once I had learned the names and the job positions of all the main characters, I found this to be quite an easy read. The narrative hops between bodies and travels in time quite a bit, so at some points I did get a bit confused but I honestly think that is how you are meant to feel - the main character is also working it out for themselves too!
I absolutely love that at the start of a book there is a map of the house and surrounding areas, and even have the names of the characters staying in each room! There is also a copy of the invitation everyone received, and a guest list.
