I really love Louise Candlish so I was very excited to see that she wrote this short story! I was really gripped so early on in this book and could not put it down. It didn’t feel like a short story - it wasn’t rushed or too brief, and I feel like the plot was very well developed, and I loved the twists. I would absolutely love to see this as a movie!

The story is about a woman who lives in a flat where she can look down out of her bathroom window and see into the kitchen of the flat below through their skylight. No one else knows that she has this view, and one day she sees something she wasn’t meant to see. If you enjoyed ‘The woman in the window’ you might enjoy this too!

How dyslexia-friendly is it?

Very! It is part of the quick reads collection which are written for adults in a very accessible way. It is short and doesn’t take long to read, it has very accessible language, and the font is large and dyslexia and visual stress-friendly.
